Thank you for your interest in adopting from EveryBuddy Rescue. Our goal is to make thoughtful, lasting matches between dogs and families. The adoption application helps us learn about  your home, lifestyle, and preferences so we can help you find the right companion.

Our Dogs

Before becoming available for adoption, our dogs receive appropriate veterinary care and are evaluated in a home-like rescue environment whenever possible.

Every adoptable dog:

• Receives a veterinary examination

• Is microchipped

• Is current on age-appropriate vaccinations

• Is treated for parasites as needed

• Is observed for temperament and behavior

• Is given time to decompress and adjust before adoption

• Receives ongoing socialization and handling

Dogs old enough for surgery are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Puppies that are not yet old enough may be adopted with a spay/neuter agreement requiring alteration at the appropriate age.

The Adoption Process

1. Complete the adoption application

2. We review applications and contact applicants who appear to be a good match.

3. References, veterinary history, and other information may be verified.

4. Meet-and-greets may be arranged when appropriate.

5. If approved, an adoption agreement will be completed before placement.
